Bécalos' mission is to generate opportunities for socially disadvantaged young Mexicans to develop skills so they can achieve a better standard of living.

Over the course of 16 years, Bécalos and its allies have supported 473,474 young people and teachers.

Initiatives generating impact:

• Bécalos Rise supported 100 young people, two of them winners of "the largest scholarship worldwide", in partnership with Schmidt Futures Foundation and Rhodes Trust.
• English Challenge. In this sixth edition, we gave the opportunity to learn English to 50 thousand young people and teachers.
• Future Skills and the International Youth Foundation, benefited 15 thousand young people and 100 teachers in 9 states, achieving a 70% employment rate in the formal sector.
• BécALAS. We benefited close to 2 thousand women with living expenses scholarships through the BeLEAD workshop and the Tecnolochicas program.
• Bécalos Tech Challenge. We awarded 500 scholarships in collaboration with DEV.F and BID Lab, to strengthen technological skills.
