Our television campaign in the United States, allowed us to increase in almost 500% the Latina women registration who wish to collaborate becoming ambassadors for this program.

Tecnolochicas prompt girls and young women to close gender gap in STEM careers.

In 2020 we helped 2,816 girls to develop computer sciences skills, coding and robotics through virtual and in-person workshops observing all health measures due to the pandemic.

With in-person activities organized before the health emergency, we were able to benefit 420 girls and young women through different events and workshops.

Confronted with the new reality, online events were our big allies. We were able to organize virtual and remote activities which benefited 865 girls and young women from Mexico and the United States. Following the same idea, we organized online workshops in Technolochicas Mexico for middle school female students in collaboration with the State Councils of Science and Technology.

UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Technolochicas is a program aligned to the goal of Gender Equality of the United Nations, which proposes to close the gender gap among men and women. We achieve this by developing technological skills in girls and young women from different schools in Mexico and the United States. Currently we rely on the participation of 528 successful women who offer their testimonies and serve as an inspiration of empowerment for future generations.
