CERO VIOLENCIA

During the commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, we created the campaign “Cero Violencia” to raise awareness about prevention of violence against women.

“The question isn’t who is going to let me; it’s who is going to stop me” –Ayn Rand

The partnership with America Soccer Club amplified the call to action regarding zero violence during its games, social media, as well as the encryption in their soccer jerseys using a zero and numbers in orange as a proof of solidarity with the movement.

Through television, we reached homes to raise awareness about this social problem, asking people to be part of Cero Violencia and spreading the word about the helpline “Origen”.

For the match America vs Chivas a bet was made among Televisa Foundation and Jorge Vergara Foundation that benefited four institutions: Pro Ayuda a la Mujer Origen, Equidad de Género, Sociedad Mexicana Pro Derechos de la Mujer and Instituto Médico Social El Refugio. Those NGOs contributed to decrease gender violence at the same time they promoted actions to prevent and eliminate aggressions against women and girls.

We amplified the message “You are not alone” from the Spotlight initiative to support UN Women and United Nation Fund for Population Activities

UN Sustainable Development Goals

We promoted the goals: Good Health and Well-being, Gender Equality and Reduced Inequality, focusing on the importance of having an inclusive society that gives equal opportunities for all.
