OVER 800 TECHNOLOCHICAS ARE THE INSPIRATION OF GIRLS AND TEENAGERS TO STUDY SCIENCES AND MATHEMATICS

We empower Latino girls and teenagers in the United States by motivating their interest in studying a technological career. To achieve that, since 2014 we are working jointly with the National Center for Woman & Information Technology.

We started the Technolochicas activities in Mexico. So far, we formed over 600 middle school students in three Mexican states with 20-hour workshops. Besides, almost 3,000 women took part in three massive events that lasted between 6 and 8 hours.

We continued our collaboration with Intel in United States, where we trained over 200 latino students at San Jose and Oakland.

UNITED NATIONS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

With Technolochicas we embrace the goal of Gender Equality. Our purpose is contributing to close gender gaps by developing technological skills in middle school girls in Mexico and the United States. We consider that the testimonies and the empowerment provided by successful women, work as a base for the inspiration of future generations.
