DURING 2019 WE WERE ABLE TO GRANT 37,096 NEW SCHOLARSHIPS THANKS TO OVER 200 MILLION PESOS COLLECTED ALONG THE YEAR

Jointly with the Mexican Banks Association, we have supported the Mexican Youth for 14 years. Bécalos is the largest private scholarship program within the country, aimed to benefit Mexican students and teachers.

To date we have more than 326,000 students and teachers.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

On September 2015 the document “Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, was signed by the 193 Member States of the United Nations. This document includes the 17 Sustainable Development Goals which main purpose is to end poverty, fight against inequities and injustice, and confront climate change without leaving anyone behind due 2030. Televisa Foundation could not stay behind. We made those Goals related to Quality Education, End of Poverty and Inequity Reduction our own. This is why Bécalos is a unique program: it develops specific skills for job acquisition. This way our grantholders will be able to find a formal and better paid job, increasing the quality of living for them and those surrounding them.
